AUSTIN, DEBRA JEAN - Of Flint, age 67, died Thursday, March 16, 2023 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 1pm Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee Humane Society.
Debra was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1956, the daughter of the late Gene and Georgia (Brandon) Bridgeforth. On January 13, 1973, she married Richard Austin in Flint. Debra enjoyed painting, bowling, camping and being outdoors. Above all else, Debra loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Richard;
son, Tony (Lisa);
daughter, Shannon;
grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Brendon (Deseray), Bailey, Bryan and Brayden;
great-grandchild, Luka;
sister, Sandra Kay (Ken).
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Brad and Terry.
