Roberts, Monica – of Mt. Morris, age 54, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10AM until 8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service.
Monica was born September 11, 1969, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to the late Richard and Arlene (Edwards) Pobe. She attended Kimball Highschool, she then went on to graduate from Baker College. More than anything Monica enjoyed helping others, and giving back when she could. She was an avid member of the AA community. She attended every sporting event and was the biggest cheerleader in the stands. Monica enjoyed traveling and putting her toes in the sand. You could find her spending time with her husband Kevin on vacations, in the kitchen baking the first day of school cookies, and even watching her favorite sports on television. More than anything she was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, and friend who will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are: Loving husband of 17 years, Kevin Roberts: Sons: Anthony (Alishia), and CJ (Paige); Daughter: Brittany (David); Step son, Randel; Grandchildren: Harlo, Jake, Rylie, Emma, Mya, Kyleigh and Anna; Siblings: Rick Pobe II, and Robin Pobe; Step brother, Scott (Angela); Step mother, Alma Mathley; Grandmother, Shirley Pobe; she was blessed with several nieces and nephews.
