HUTCHISON, Robert Eugene - age 75, of Au Gres, formerly of Flint, died May 2, 2023. A celebration of life service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48507 with Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Robert was born May 8, 1947, in Jackson, the son of Guy and Marjorie Hutchison. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1965. He worked for Buick for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. Robert enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, and being near the water. He was happiest when he was able to go fishing, either with his friends on a boat or off the dock at his cottage. Robert is survived by his sons Jeff (Penny) Hutchison and Jason Hutchison; daughter, Jamie Hutchison Trussell; granddaughters Abbigail Lee-Rodgers and Haylee Hutchison, grandson Ryland Trussell; bonus granddaughters Mikayla Gill, McKenzie and Lindsay Kallin; and members of his extended family, including former spouse Janet Hutchison.
