MRASEK, Linda Marie – of Davison, age 68, passed away November 21, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor David Leineke officiating. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 PM Monday and 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Linda was born in Flint, MI on September 17, 1946, daughter of the late Harold and Onabelle Lapeer. She married Frank Mrasek on May 18, 1991. Linda worked at AC Delco, retiring in 2001 and was a member of UAW Local # 651. She loved to golf, traveling to Oscoda, going out to dinner and enjoying a few pops with her friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Frank; children, Richard (Sara) Besson, Renae Shelby, Randy (Samantha) Besson; stepchildren, Micheline Mrasek, Tutt (Maria) Mrasek, John Mrasek; grandchildren, Elissa, Ethan, Charles, Chad, Dalton, Cameron, Randy Jr., Joshua, Heather, Kash, Lela, Ella; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe, Blyane; siblings, Larry (Nancy) Lapeer, Patricia Ranger, Kenny Lapeer, Peggy Owens; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lee; grandchildren, Emily and Ericka. The family would like to extend a special thank you to brother Fred Mrasek, Jerri Stewart, Linda Haines and Genesys Convalescent Center.
