MAKAREWICZ, Ron - Of Clio, age 80, died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Pines Memory Care.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison,
Rev. Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Ronald was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 28, 1941, the son of the late Albin and Emily (Glish) Makarewicz. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. Ron played the accordion and 1 two time world champion organist. He was an animal lover and had many dogs and canaries, which he also bred, over the years. Ron also enjoyed horses and worked at a horse farm.
Ron is survived by his brother Gary (Marie) of Clio;
Nephews, Troy of Mt. Morris and Todd of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Albin and Emily Makarewicz and his faithful companion of 17 years, Norwich Terrier "Heller".
