ZWIERZYNSKI, Shirley Mae - Ago 70, of Linden, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream of the service will be available on Shirley's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Shirley Pickens-Brown Zwierzynski, the daughter of Herman and Beulah (McElrath) Pickens born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 6 1950. She was adopted as an infant to Olaf and Elsie (Hampton) Brown. Shirley has spent most of her life in the Linden area, she worked for many years at Hudson's. She enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas and Scotland, she was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Surviving are brother Victor (Karen) Brown, Herman Jr Pickens, Charles Pickens, James Pickens and sisters Janice (Donald) Nowiki and Mary Lou Pickens. many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Brown, William, Leroy, Billy and Willford Pickens and sister Martha Pickens.
