LaFAVE, Debra Rene – of Flint, MI, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in Debbie’s memory.
Debra was born in Flint, MI on June 29, 1966, daughter of Donald LaFave and the late Susan Ross. Debbie found immense happiness in the simple pleasures of life, with her family occupying a special place in her heart. One of Debbie's greatest joys was cradling infants in her arms, sharing in the innocent purity of a child's laughter and the boundless love exchanged in those tender moments. Her nurturing spirit created a haven of love and security for the little ones lucky enough to be held in her embrace. Beyond her family, Debbie had a passion for collecting Betty Boop paraphernalia. Each piece held a story, a memory, and a reflection of her vibrant personality. Her collection became a testament to her unique taste and the whimsical charm she brought into every room she entered. Debbie's kindness knew no bounds. She had a knack for making others feel valued and appreciated, and her warm, welcoming demeanor made her a friend to all who crossed her path. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Debbie will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love and gratitude.
Debra is survived by her father, Donald (Connie) LaFave; sister-in-law, Tammy LaFave; 2 nephews, Raymond (Michelle) LaFave and Jordan (Alan) LaFave; 2 great-nieces, Ryan LaFave and Blake LaFave; great-nephew, Logan LaFave; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Ross; brother, Raymond LaFave; sister, Bobbee LaFave; grandparents, Calvin and Jessie LaFave.
