Terrie Luann Meinecke of Davison, age 61, died Tuesday November 29, 2022 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday December 5, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. Davison, with Pastor Todd I. Frusti officiating. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Monday until time of services at the church. The family is accepting floral arrangements or those desiring may make contributions in Terrie’s memory to the Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
Terrie was born in Burt Michigan on May 19, 1961 the daughter of William and Phyllis (Opperman) Moore and has resided in Davison the last forty years, spending her early years in Millington. She was joined in marriage to Gregory Meinecke on August 20, 1983. Terrie loved to quilt, and spend time with family and friends. She was a graduate of Millington High School Class of 1979, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Davison.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband Gregory, and son Alan Meinecke. She also leaves her mother Phyllis Moore, sister Linda and husband Dean Sharrer, and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father William Moore in Sept. 2003.
The family would like to give special thanks to Terrie’s quilting group; Becky, Pam, Bernie, Colleen, Bonnie, and Maggie for all the laughs and memories made during their quilting sessions. They would also like to extend special thanks to Compassus Hospice, cousins Jan and Randy Cooke, and dear friends Becky and Jim Battles for all of their care and support during this journey.
