SHILLING, Keith – of Clio, age 69, died peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Graveside service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Flint Memorial Park – 9506 N Dort Hwy., in Mt. Morris. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Keith was born on September 12, 1956, in Flint, to the late Edwin and Irene (Burleigh) Shilling. He graduated in the top ten of his class from Bendle High School in 1975 and attended Mott Community College. Keith proudly worked as a Dental Service Technician for 36 years. On September 22, 2000, he married the love of his life, Donette, and together they shared nearly 26 wonderful years of marriage. Keith found joy in the simple pleasures of life – keeping up with NASCAR, spending time in the woods hunting, and enjoying the crisp taste of a cold Diet Coke. He was known for his goofy, fun-loving personality that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. Keith cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, holding a special place in his heart for each of them. Above all, he was deeply grateful to spend his final days at home surrounded by the love of his family, and he will be dearly missed.
Keith is forever loved by: Wife, Donette Shilling; Children: Jeremy (Lisa) Coulter, Josh (Meghan) Coulter, Jennifer (Frank) Born, Kara Shilling, and Kasey Shilling; Grandchildren: Cody (Emma) Hayward, Jessica (Luke) Stempien, Logan (Lorisa) Born, Morgan Farero, Reice (DeAnna) Coulter, Ava Coulter, Olivia Coulter, Cade Moorehouse, Cora Moorehouse, JJ Coulter, Kinsley Coulter, Mikaylia Hall, Mercedes Shilling, Alexus McPherson, Ariannah Pepitone, Kaidyn Fare, and Jase Shilling; Great Grandchildren: Lucy Hayward, Dedrick Corrioso Jr., Derrick Green III, and Easton Born; Brothers: Ronald (Teresa) Christenson, Gary Shilling, Bill Weier, Denny Weier; Sisters: Ronnie Madaras, and Paulette Shilling; Beloved Cat, Boo; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends. Keith was preceded in death by: Parents, Edwin and Irene; Brothers: Ray Weier, Roy Shilling, and Terry Shilling. |
