TUCKER, Nathan Roger – Of Flint, age 87, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at The Pines of Burton.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bruce Garner officiating.
Those desiring may make contributions to the wishes of the family.
Visitation 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Memorial service at the funeral home.
Nathan was born in Flint, Michigan on July 5, 1934, the son of the late John Richard and Emma Elizabeth (Conrad) Tucker.
On December 20, 1955 he married Patricia Douglass at Bristol Road Church of Christ.
He was a member of Faith Tabernacle for 30 years.
Nathan enjoyed hunting and fishing, shooting pool and going to church.
Mr. Tucker retired as a Stock Manager from Hamady Brothers.
Surviving are wife, Patricia;
3 children, Debra (Nicholas) Thom of Davison,
Kenneth “Keno” (Stacie) Tucker of Flint,
Victoria (Fernando) Zarran of Duncan, South Carolina;
4 grandchildren, Ashli Paige Blom, Isabella Rain Tucker, Ava Sunshine Tucker and Michael Alan (Tessa) Rountree;
2 great-grandchildren, Kingsley and Everly Rountree;
4 siblings, Ralph Michael (Anna Marie) Tucker,
Marilyn Sue (Nicholas) Federici, Doris June (William) Johnson and Dennis Ray Tucker;
brothers-in-law, James (Polly) Douglass, Charles (Susan) Douglass and Daniel (Maureen) Douglass;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Michael Tucker; in-laws, Bernice and Homer Douglass and brother-in-law, Thomas (Sally) Douglass.
