YOW, BLONDELL V. – Of Flint Township, age 90, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Courtyard Manor.
A Private service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Blondell was born in Darlington, South Carolina on November 29, 1930, the daughter of the late Tolly and Pearl (Goodson) Warren. She was very Southern and had the best southern drawl. Blondell loved watching Western movies and enjoyed observing the wildlife outside, especially birds and squirrels. Blondell was a very good cook and extremely generous to everyone around her.
Surviving are children, David (Theresa) Yow, Franklin (Candy) Yow and Susan (Mark) Turner;
grandchildren, Brandi (Rich) Larobardiere and Dax Yow, Justin (Melissa) Yow, Candice (Bryan) Faith, Christin (Brian) Beaver Lorin (John) Binko, Matt (Jenn) Taylor, Staci Turner and Steven (Brianna) Turner;
21 great-grandchildren and one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
