BOSTWICK, DONALD – Of Grand Blanc, age 88 died Friday, August 25, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023
at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Mr. Bostwick will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SMILE Train or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Donald was born in Flint, Michigan on February 23, 1935, the son of
the late Lewis and Thelma (Peek) Bostwick.
On June 19, 1982 he married Mary Airato in Ohio.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and belonged to the Divine Mercy Cenacle at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Donald was Guatemalan Outreach Treasurer since 1990.
He was a member of the Lions Club of Davison. He was an avid Red Wings fan.
He was devoted to his family.
Surviving are wife of 41 years, Mary;
son, Brian Bostwick;
grandchildren, Katie Bostwick and Brandon Bostwick;
mother of his grandchildren, Debbie;
sisters, Sue Nichols and LouAnn Genella;
brother, Charles Bostwick.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Delores Ankey, Betty Bierlein, Richard Bostwick, Shirley Yorks, Linda Clark and Phillip Bostwick.
