JARVIS, Gary Lee - Of Flint, age 61, died Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday April 12, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Russ Greenfield and Randy Ratliff co-officiating.
Visitation 4-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held by the Swartz Creek Lodge #458 at 7 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on July 21, 1963, the son of the late Joe Jarvis and Patsy (Kincaid) Jarvis. On November 14, 1992, Gary married Marie Lorraine Boswell in Flint. He was employed at Vemco in the IT Department. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and a member of The Flint Lodge No 23 F &A.M.
Surviving are wife. Marie Jarvis; sister, Brenda Jarvis Meyers; brother, Joe Jarvis Jr. (Butch);
many nieces and nephews;
mother-in-law, Annette Dill;
father-in-law, Clarence Boswell, Jr.;
brothers and sisters-in -law, Clarence and wife Karen Boswell, Wanda and husband Pat O’Kelly, Bobby and wife Dawn Boswell, Anne “Sissy” and husband Rick Green, Randy and wife Connie Boswell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Darrell Jarvis and twin brother, Larry Jarvis.
