RANCOUR, Nancy J. – of Clio, age 83, died peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at McLaren Flint. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, August 19, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2PM until 7PM, and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to The Disabled American Veterans.
Nancy was born August 21, 1938, in Otisville, Michigan, to the late Donald and Gertrude (Maxson) Ryerson. She graduated from Lakeville High School in 1956. Nancy married Jerome “Jerry” Rancour on November 26, 1960, in Davison. She is a U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a secretary at The Pentagon for several years. Nancy also worked at the Genesee County Herald for over 10 years. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Nancy enjoyed rock painting, playing games, cards, dominos, bingo trips to Canada laughing with her sisters, and coordinating all family tubing trips and holiday gatherings. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Above all, Nancy loved spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: Loving husband, Jerry Rancour; Children: Judy Wells, Joe Rancour, Greg (Nancy) Rancour, Jeff Rancour, and Debbie (Ken) Wells; Grandchildren: Kevin, Jordan, Debbie, Michael, Angelina, Amber, Austin, Nicole, Jesse, Zachary, and Hailey; Great grandchildren: Sibella, Lily, Lexi, Lucas, Leegan, Layla, Emily, Michael; Sisters: Donna (Tom) Bully, Linda (Brad) McCormick, and Sheila Yeager; Brother, Terry Ryerson; Many other loving family members and dear friends. Nancy was also preceded in death by: Grandson, Josh; Siblings: Frances, David, Butch, and Doug; Aunt, Norma Gibbs.
