Sturgeon, Michael William - Age 61, of Holt, died December 5, 2021. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, December 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place 12 PM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
Michael was born January 11, 1960 in Flint the son of William R. Sturgeon and Doris (Anderson) Sturgeon. He was a veteran of he U.S. Navy. He graduated from Michigan State University. Michael was a Registered Nurse working at several area hospitals. He was an Avid Sportsman. Surviving are: son Jacob; parents Bill and Doris; sisters, Kim Ouimet and Kelly Sturgeon; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by sister Katrina Bryan.
