HILDEN, Beverly Jane – Formerly of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her residence in Plymouth.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Burial of cremains at Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on November 6, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Watkins and resided in Flint and Grand Blanc her entire life; until recently moving to Plymouth to be near her daughter.
She graduated from Flint Technical High School in 1950.
Beverly married her husband William Hilden on January 6, 1951.
She retired from Chevrolet Flint Manufacturing Personnel Department in 1988, after 30 years.
Mrs. Hilden belonged to the Industrial Business Girls' Association during her work career.
Beverly loved traveling, knitting and crocheting.
She also enjoyed very much watching her grandson Alec play high school sports, he was the apple of her eye and the light of her life.
Mrs. Hilden is survived by her husband, William;
daughter, Stacey Woodman and her husband, John;
grandson, Alec W. Woodman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Katherine Watkins; two brothers, Alfred and James Watkins and sister, Joanne Lochore.
