Jeanette Marie Allis age 95 of Otisville MI, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Maplewoods Manor. Her funeral Mass will be held at 1PM on Friday, August 25, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 212 Center St. Otisville, MI., 48463. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The family will receive visitors from noon until the time of her service.
Jeanette was born on November 3, 1927 in Kingsford MI, to Robert and Germaine Osborne. She lived in Kingsford, until her family moved to Flint in 1941. She was a graduate of Northern High School in 1945. She married John Allis in 1950. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Otisville, She felt very welcome within her parish she looked forward to Saturday Mass. She enjoyed attending the retiree meeting at Local 326 and Local 581 and playing cards with her sisters, cousins and friends. Jeanette was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children: John (Kim) Allis, Debra (Keith) Root, Diana Ashley, and Linda (Curt) Green, ten grandchildren: Jason (Darcy), Jessica (Nate), Nicole, Sarah, David (Kellie), Kelly (George), Kevin (Paula), Justin, Eric (Misty), and Christopher; 9 great grandchildren: Preston, Paige, Piper, James, Lindy, Caelyn, Cameron, Knox and Nova; sister Joyce, brother Robert, several nieces and nephews. |
