Wardosky, Gary Stanley of Flushing, age 81, died Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday April 12, 2022, at Rossell Funeral Home. Gary’s son will speak at 7pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee County Animal Control.
Gary was born on March 18, 1941, the son of Stanley and Marie (Charchan) Wardosky. He married the love of his life, Katherine Frances Juretich on December 30, 1961, and together spent 34 wonderful years married when she passed away on August 18, 1995. Gary worked at General Motors Metal Fab for 41 years. He enjoyed spending his winters in Lake Worth, Florida and loved tinkering in his garage. Gary also loved going to car shows and cruises with his classic cars as well as riding his Harley. Gary was also an avid camper and enjoyed four wheeling. His greatest love was his family and the time they spent together.
Gary is survived by his children, Gary J. (Denise) Wardosky, Deborah (Todd) McMurphy; grandchildren, Justin Tabaszewski, Taylor (Greg) Schnell, Haley Snyder, Megan Snyder and Gavin Wardosky, great-granddaughter Brinley Kay Schnell and great-granddaughter on the way. Siblings Donna (Edward) Henneke, Mitchell (Deb Marshall) Wardosky, Phil (Glenda) Wardosky and his four wheeling buddies, Cousin Dennis (Tracey) Charchan, and brother Phil, who thankfully never got Gary lost in the woods. |
