Riley, Jefferson Kermit V – of Clio, age 3 months, went home to be with the angels in Heaven on Friday, May 19, 2023. Funeral services will take place at 1PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
Jefferson was born February 10, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Jefferson Riley IV and Elizabeth Riley (Boyd). He loved his cuddles and enjoyed being snuggled. Jefferson was everything his mom and dad could have ever wanted. He was undeniably cute, perfect in every way, and was just starting to come into his own personality. He was just too bright and special for this world.
“God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped him in His loving arms. and whispered, ‘Come with me.’ He suffered much in silence; his spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. He tried so hard to stay with us, but his fight was not in vain, God welcomed him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.”
Surviving are: Loving parents, Jefferson and Elizabeth Riley (Boyd); Sister, Paisley Riley; Grandparents: Kerry and Jefferson Riley III, Heath Boyd, Della Gretz; Great Grandparents: Peggy Gretz, Papa Bob, and Vicki Boyd; Aunt and Uncles: Natalie Riley, Megan (Nicholas) Barber, Zachary Boyd, Meagan Boyd, Lauren Boyd, and Joshua Boyd; Cousins: Adam Beckman, and Winnifred Barber.
