KREBSBACH, Althea Martha – Of Flint, age 97, died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Cranberry Park Assisted Living.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated 12Noon, Friday, July 15, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5199 Richfield Road, Flint, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Rainbow Connection (www.rainbowconection.org) or Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Althea was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on August 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Steege) Krueger.
On May 28, 1949 she married Elmer Krebsbach in Flint and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2008.
She was a long time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed many years serving as secretary Treasurer for the WWII 202nd AAA (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) Battalion Army Reunions.
She enjoyed sewing, making Christmas tree ornaments, crocheting, gardening, card games, dancing and traveling, especially cruises with Elmer.
Most of all she loved her family.
Surviving are children, Linda Krebsbach, Sharon (Ken) Coon, John Krebsbach,
Elaine (Mike) Sims, Alan (Connie) Krebsbach;
daughter-in-law, Sherry Krebsbach;
grandchildren, Rebecca (Brent) Keeler, Ronald (Beth) Bellmer, Danielle Siebs, Matthew Sims, Jeffrey Sims, Daniel (Kayla) Sims, Tanner Krebsbach and Ella Krebsbach;
great-grandchildren, Abbigale Bellmer, Zachary Bellmer, Shelbey Keeler, Aubrey Keeler, Riley Keeler and Edward Keeler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; son, Gregory Krebsbach; parents, Marie and Henry Krueger; sisters, Mildred, Loise and Blanche; brothers, Edward, Bernard and Baby Donald.
