GELLINGS, Michael R. - Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died March 18, 2021. Private services will be held (the service will be live-streamed at 12:30PM Wednesday, March 31 on Michael's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make a donation to the charity of one's choice. Michael was born July 2, 1947 in Flint, the son of Henry and Betty (Pendergraph) Gellings. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Michael retired from GM Metal Fab. He was an avid golfer and loved spoiling his grandkids. He is survived by his daughter, Shelly (Jim) Vandendries; step-daughters, Megan Bartl and Marilee Bartl; grandchildren, Riley, Lily, Nikolas, Claire, Kate, Ellen, Adrian and Naomi; siblings, Joseph (Linda) Gellings, Patricia Phillips, Susan (Levon) Hachigan, Martha (Paul) Miller; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
