GERZSENY, Elizabeth Mary “Betty” – Of Clio, formerly of Burton, age 97, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Gross Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Betty was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 24, 1919, the daughter of the late Alex and Elizabeth Kocsis.
She was the best mother and grandma ever and a phenomenal cook.
Surviving are sons, John and wife Darlene,
David and wife Linda;
grandchildren, Suzanne, Christopher, Daniel, Fortune, Kevin and Melissa;
7 great-grandchildren;
brother, Carl and wife Dee Kocsis;
sister, Mary Ann and husband Calvin Morris,
Helen and husband Marvin Woodcock;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Gerzseny and four brothers.
