KOLTON, IMELDA MAY – Of Flint, age 88, died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at The Oaks of Grand Blanc.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaide Street, Fenton, MI 48430, Father Robert Copeland officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Imelda was born on March 1, 1934, the daughter of George and Stella Kolton,
When Imelda retired from GM she had more time to enjoy her family, friends and flowers.
Her nieces and nephews fondly referred to her as Aunt Mello.
Imelda's unselfish giving of herself was amazing. She was always the first one to be there and offer support any way she could. She was a friend to everyone.
Imelda never missed sending greeting cards for every occasion to everyone she knew.
She enjoyed family and holiday parties, always insisting on doing the dishes.
Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters, Rita Hresko, Alberta Gebhardt and Bonnie Hintz.
