REYES, Bertha - Of Grand Blanc, age 94, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Argentine Care Center.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Roy Horning officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Visitation will be held 11am-4pm Saturday, August 19, 2023 with service being held at 1pm.
Bertha was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1928, the daughter of the late Fernando and Dolores (Gallardo) Monreal. On May 15, 1948, she married Paul Reyes in Flint. Bertha was a housekeeper at Hurley Medical Center and retired in 1990. She loved doing word search puzzles and was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Pistons.
Surviving are children, Buzz, Becky (Greg), Lita (Jerry), Dennis, Ricardo and Xavier;
17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren whom she loved and cherished with all her heart.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul, siblings, Victoria, Fernando, Beatrice, Salvador, Blanche, Delores, Mary and Robert.
