Sharon Marie Draheim, of Durand, passed away Friday, July 18,2025 at McLaren Hospital-Flint. She was 89 years old.
Born September 28, 1935 in Flint, she was one of two daughters born to John and Hulda (Herzog) Horton. On September 17,1955 she married Leo Edward Draheim in Flint, with Leo they raised 3 children and enjoyed 49 years of marriage and memories until his passing on January 20, 2005. Sharon worked as a receptionist at Blue Care Network until her retirement in 1997. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Flint where she sang in the church choir and served as director for a time, enjoying the love of music she also was a member of the Sugar Mill Wood Choral group and was a pianist and organist as well. Most of all she cherished her time spent with family.
Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia LeBeau and husband Lawrence of Florida and Pamela O’Connor of Flint; daughter in law Carleen Draheim of Fenton; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leo; son Bradley and one sister Nancy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 26,2025 at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 2526 Corunna Road, Flint, MI 48503, there will be visitation from 10 am until time of the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Bendle Cemetery in Flushing. Visitation will also be held on Friday, July 25,2025 from 4-8pm at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.
