POBOCIK, Mae L. - age 93, of Swartz Creek, died June 29, 2020. A private funeral service will be held with burial at Billings Cemetery in Beaverton, MI. Visitation will be held 1 PM - 3 PM Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Mae was born June 23, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Harry and Loretta (Foreman) Armstrong. She married Phillip Pobocik and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1995. Mae retired from the Genesee County Equalization Department after 23 years of service. She enjoyed china painting and was a member of the Owosso Porcelain Shaders Club. She enjoys spending time up north and was also a member of the Beaverton Eagles Club. Surviving are: daughters, Cathy (Tom) Cox of Swartz Creek; Phyllis (Bob) Dickerson of Morrice; grandchildren, Katrinia (Eric) Fryfogle, Jeremy Cox, and Eric Dickerson; great-grandchildren, Makaela, Riley and Caden Fryfogle; sister, Betty Brunger.
