MINIER, Robert “Bobby” Harold – of Davison, MI, age 79, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022 at his home. A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery; Pastor Louis Canaday officiating. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1:30 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Robert’s memory.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on April 17, 1943, son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Rogers) Minier. He retired from Pepsi-Cola in 2006 after more than 40 years of service. Robert enjoyed deer hunting, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife, Edna Minier; 4 children, Mary (Billy) Hampton, Shirl (Ken) Gates, Teresa (John) Martin and Jonah Buelin; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Hampton, Billy Hampton, III, Olivia Gates, Halee Gates, Kirsten (Adam) Martin, Korey (Marisa) Buelin and Emily (Austin) Utt; 6 great-grandchildren, Ramsey Newmen, Tori Rose Martin, Aidyn Adams, Christian Martin, Charlie Buelin and Declan Utt; 4 sisters, Sherry (Bob) Bell, Eileen Minier, Karen (Jack) Johnson and Shelly (Mark) Bacon; brother-in-law, Jim Camp; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Minier; first wife, Shirlie (Mullins) Minier; 3 sisters, Joyce Minier, Janet Camp and Helen (Bruce) Dimond.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to his daughter, Mary Hampton, son-in-law, Ken Gates, sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Bob Bell and the nurses and staff of McLaren Hospice for their love and support in caring for Robert.
