HERFURTH, John - Of Davison, age 78, died Friday, March 15, 2024
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Burial in Richfield Union Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint, Michigan on June 26, 1945, the son of the late Dick and Dorothy (Doris) Herfurth. John retired from AC Delco. He was a member of the Eagles, American Legion, Moose Lodge and 40-8. John enjoyed spending time at the family cabin and hunting and fishing.
Surviving are sons, Phillip (Donna) Herfurth, Matthew Herfurth, and Andrew (Kerri) Herfurth;
Grandchildren, Joseph, Hanna, Skylar, Jordan, Ethan, Natalie, Alex, Aubree, Wesley, and Ellie;
The daughters of his heart, Shannon, Michelle and Joey;
Brothers, Rick Herfurth (Tammy Coon) and Terry (Marie) Herfurth;
And many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Oreda.
