BROWN, Rebecca Ann – of Clio, age 56, died peacefully at home on August 19, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Messiah Lutheran Church – 520 Butler St. – Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Monday from 2PM until 8PM, and at the church on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
Rebecca was born on August 30, 1969, in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Atherton High School with the Class of 1987. For many years, Becky worked as a manager at Meijer in Burton, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609. Becky enjoyed crafting and looked forward to her annual kayaking trip with her special group of people. She also loved traveling with her loving companion, Brian, especially their memorable trips to Disney. Becky had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Bailey and Jack, who were truly her babies and brought so much love and happiness to her life. Above all, Becky will be remembered for her selfless and caring heart. She was always thinking of others, putting their needs before her own, and finding ways to make the people around her feel loved and cared for. Her kindness, generosity, and love for those closest to her will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Surviving are: Life Companion, Brian Coats; Mother, Kathleen Pelch; Siblings: Bill Brown, Kenneth Brown, Daniel Brown, Randy Johnson, Marita (Pete), Gayle (Paul), and Jimmy Johnson; Aunt, Sharon; Special cousins: Cheryl, Michelle, Debbie, and Rodney; Special friends: Eva Peterson and Tracy Boone; Many other loving family members and dear friends. Becky was preceded in death by her stepfather, Norman Pelch; Uncles: Butch, Mike, and Harold; Aunt, Bernice.
