Jacobs, Sharon K. – of Flushing, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at her residence with family by her side. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow to Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 24, 2023, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home from 4PM until 8PM and on Saturday at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Sharon was born September 7, 1941, in Park Rapids, Minnesota, to the late Gilbert and Lillian (Jokela) Fabrick. She attended and graduated from Mandeville High School, with the class of 1959. On June 1, 1963, Sharon joined in matrimony with Ray Jacobs, a union that brought them immeasurable happiness and countless cherished memories. Their love served as an inspiration to those around them, reminding us of the beauty that can be found within a lifelong partnership built on love, respect, and unwavering commitment. An avid crafter and scrapbooker, Sharon's creative spirit was a testament to her artistic soul. She delighted in transforming simple materials into beautiful works of art, capturing the essence of treasured memories. Whether it was meticulously arranging photographs or crafting handmade cards, her creativity flowed effortlessly from her fingertips. Sharon's love for the water was unparalleled. With Ray by her side, she reveled in the joy of swimming, and water skiing. Their shared passion for the outdoors extended beyond the shores, as they embarked on camping, hunting, fishing and traveling excursions together, truly living life to the fullest. The glittering lakes and autumnal forests were their sanctuary, a place where they could immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
Surviving are: Loving husband of 60 years, Ray Jacobs; Children: Janice (Michael) Addison, and Bryan (Deana) Jacobs; Grandchildren: Darcy Jacobs, Dalton Jacobs, Chandra Addison; Great Grandchildren: Natalie, Dean, and Reid; Brother, Richard (Helen) Fabrick; Brother-In-Law, Minor (Linda) Jacobs; Sister-In-Law, Pat Jacobs; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother in laws: John Jacobs, Leslie Jacobs and Royce Gilbertson; sister-in-law, Norine Gilbertson.
