Age 76 of Owosso passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 10am Saturday April 14, 2018 at the Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Pastors Jason Steele and Dr. Don Galardi officiating and Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home-Owosso Chapel on Friday April 13 from 2pm to 8pm.

Phillip was born May 31, 1942 in Owosso, the son of Elmer and Arlene (Hoenshell) Kiger.

He graduated from Ovid High School; Class of 1960.

Phillip proudly served in the US Marine Corps 1960-1966. He was a member of the Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of the marine Corp League. Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and taking trips and traveling on his motorcycle

He married Vicki R. Warren in Corunna on March 10, 1978.

Phillip retired from Pepsi in 2004 after 33 years of service as a truck driver.

Phillip is survived by his wife Vicki; his son Sahn (Allison) Kiger; four grandchildren Kelley, Morragan, Mave and Ty; brother Gary (Wanda) Kiger of Burton Corners; several nieces and nephews; special friends Ron (Sue) Tomalia and many other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and his grandparents.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
