Terry Russell Locke, of Flint, Michigan, passed away at McLaren Flint on December 23, 2020 at 72 years of age.
Beloved husband of Rose; adored father of Terry (Connie) Locke and Jennifer Locke; step-father of Cathy Laforest, Janet Johnson, and Jeffery Johnson; proud 'papa' of Tyler, Jacob, Jasmine, Austin, Nathan Allysa, Joshua, Lucas, and Ava; great-grandfather of Violit; dear brother of Darrell (Pat) Locke, Kathy (Dave) Goodman, Carolyn (Rob) Russell, Hanley (Duke) Locke, Steve Locke, Gwen (Mike) Freeman, Mark (Chris) Locke. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy; daughter Valerie; and brothers Mike and Gary.
Terry was born in Flint on May 14, 1948 to the late Hanley and Gwendola Locke. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of loyal service. Following his retirement, he drove for Uber, delivered motor homes, and volunteered with Kearsley Rescue Squad.
The family will greet friends from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Family Community Church of the Nazarene, 5366 S. State Rd., Goodrich, Michigan. Interment following at Meadowview Memorial Gardens, Davison. The family kindly requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be directed to a charity of your choice in honor of Terry's giving nature.
In compliance with state and local mandates, facial coverings must be worn during the visitation and funeral, social distancing and occupancy limits will be enforced.
