GILSON, Luba - Age 72, of Swartz Creek, passed away January 9, 2019. Funeral Services 11 AM Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel at our temporary location Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd. Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). Visitation 2-4PM and 6-8PM Monday. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Luba was born July 21, 1946 in Munich, Germany the daughter of Iwan and Helen (Plutynicki) Germak. She was proud of her Ukrainian ancestry. Her family moved to the USA when she was 5 years old. Luba attended Swartz Creek Schools where she later was employed as a custodian. She enjoyed gardening and loved her pets. Surviving are: children Mark Gilson, Tammy McDaniel, and Helen Gilson; grandchildren; Torrea Gilson, and McKenzie McDaniel; she is also survived by Leonard (Norma) Gilson; and several nieces and nephews.
