WILSON, Janet Marie - Age 84 of Gaines, died Monday, November 7, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 12 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, ( a live stream of the service will be available on the obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2 PM - 8 PM Friday and from 9 AM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in memory of Janet to the Bentley Schools Athletic Fund.
Janet was born on May 26, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Jesse and Edna (Myers) Hutchison. Janet worked as a secretary for the Bentley School District and retired after 46 years of service. She was a lifelong supporter of Bentley High School, Western and Ferris State Universities Football, following her son's career.
Surviving are her children; Diane (Mark) Stefan of Gaines and Duane Wilson of Saline. Grandchildren; Jessica Tradii of Clinton Twp., Melissa (Gavin) Cloutier of Grand Blanc and Rachael Hille of TN. Great-grandchildren; Lyla, Luke, Benjamin and Alexander. Siblings; Chuck Hutchison of Flint and Jean (Don) Smith of Pikeville, NC. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years; Charles. Parents. Sister and brother-in-law; Carol (Bill) Ward. Grandson-in-law; John Tradii. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
