HANSON – PALINSKY, Mary Patricia – of New Lothrop, age 95, our Beloved Mother, passed into Eternal Life, Friday, April 15, 2022 at Riverglens Assisted Living. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at O’Guinn, Montrose. Pastor Joey Henry officiating. Burial at Flushing Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose and from 10AM until time of service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Pat was born October 20, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John and Gertrude (McNaney) Kelly. She grew up in Baltimore. She married Andy Palinsky and he preceded her in death. Pat then married Peter Hanson. Prior to her retirement, Pat worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Lundeen, Dr. Mangelsdorf, and finished her career with Dr. Gerald Burner. She attended St. Roberts Catholic Church and was active with the Knights of Columbus. Pat was also a member of the Michigan Medical Assistant Association and the American Legion. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, portrait oil painting, and ceramics. Pat met her husband Andy roller skating and loved flying with him in their later years.
Pat also was instrumental in helping her daughters open their first dance studio. She was active in supporting their continuing dance careers.
Surviving are: Husband, Peter Hanson; Children, Gary Charles (Barbara) Palinsky, Mary Gail (Edmund) McPhee, Patricia Gaye (Ronald) Beebe, Gwyn Anne (Samuel) Dyka, Greg Andrew (Pamela) Palinsky; 16 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother in law, Aladar Nemes; Sister in law, Constance Palinsky.
