HUNGERFORD, Garner L. - age 83, of Holly, died June 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton MI 48430. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church. Garner was born June 13, 1937 in Fenton, the son of Lloyd and Frances (Cornell) Hungerford. He married Annette Burns on August 1, 1959 in Fenton and she preceded him in death on September 29, 2020. Garner was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He had worked for Byerlys Grocery, Freeman's and Oakland County Road Commission. Surviving are: children, Ronda (Richard) Woods of Swartz Creek, Greg (Julie) Hungerford of Fenton, Becky (Robert) Trest of Holly and Chad (Tiffany) Hungerford of Burt. He is also survived by grandchildren, Keith (Shannon) Woods, Kyle Woods, Jonathan (Sarah) Hungerford, Nicholas Hungerford, Kelsi (Corey) VanCura, Emily (Alex) Reynolds, Zachery Hungerford, Brie Hungerford, Avin Hungerford and Landon Frachette; great grandchildren, Cole Woods, Emma Casemore, Olivia Hungerford, Marshall VanCura, Violet VanCura, and baby boy Woods due in July; sisters, Lorraine (Bill) Lahring of Gaines and Betty Bourne of Fenton.
