LAFERNEY, MaryAnn - Of Grand Blanc, age 65, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at her residence after a 4 year courageous and faith-filled journey with cancer.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, with visitation beginning at 10am Sunday.
Private burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
MaryAnn was born in Flint, Michigan on March 9, 1958. On August 6, 1977, she married the love of her life, Mark LaFerney in Flint. MaryAnn loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a loving person with a wonderful sense of humor, strong faith and lived her life for her friends and family.
Surviving are beloved husband, Mark;
daughter, Lindsey and husband Terrence Sheroski;
son, Bradley and wife Margie LaFerney;
grandchildren, Dylan, Alana and Savanna;
brother, Ron and wife Dawn Lyden;
sister, Tammy and husband Rob Johnson;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lyden, mother, Joyce (Brandon) Osborne, stepfather, Russ Osborne and dear friends, Chris and Cindy Common.
