STEPHENSON, William “Bill” Reece – of Flint, MI, age 81, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Entombment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 and 12-1 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home.
Bill was born in Chattanooga, TN on January 14, 1942, son of the late Robert and Hester (Dodd) Stephenson. He married Sylvia Johnson on December 7, 1963 and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2016. Bill retired from Flint Community Schools as a Plumbing and Heating Repairman in 1992 after more than 30 years of service. After retirement, Sylvia and Bill enjoyed traveling the United States.
Bill is survived by 2 children, Wild Bill (Michele) Stephenson II and Tom (Lucinda) Stephenson; 3 grandchildren, Michele (Samantha) DeBlouw, Damian (Lauren) Stephenson and Anthony (Paige) Stephenson; 2 great-grandchildren, Reece and Ryder; special friends, Dale Stephens, Mike and Debbie Barrett, Patty and Dewey LeBeau; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hester Stephenson; wife, Sylvia Stephenson; son, Dan Stephenson.
