Tom A. James age 71, of Hope, Michigan formerly of Flushing, Michigan passed away on May 11, 2021 in Midland, Michigan. Tom was born on March 31, 1950 to the late William and Edith James in Kennett, Missouri.
Tom married the love of his life Vickie James in 1973 in Flint, Michigan. He worked for 40 years as an Assembly worker for General Motors. Tom enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and playing solitaire, but especially loved every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. Tom had a heart of gold, he would help anyone in need. He was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his children: Matthew S. James and Leah J. James; grandchildren: Zachary (Jade Upton) Hennagir, Madison James, Jonathan Monroe, Mason James; and one little great-grand baby on the way; brother, Terry (Carol Gouine) James; sisters: Brenda Lawrence, Sherry Krebsbach, Tammy (Jeff) Swanson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie James;, mother Edith James, father William James, mother-in-law, Mary Weaver; father-in-law, Bill Robinson ,nephew, Tyler Swanson.
