Nicholas Richard Willacker
Age 76 of Chesaning passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at St. Mary's of Michigan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Maple Grove. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10th from 3:00 to 7:00pm.
Nicholas was born on January 9, 1946 to Richard and Faye (Herrick) Willacker in Owosso. He graduated from St. Michael's school with the class of 1964. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Nicholas married Shirley F. Weber on May 2, 1970; they celebrated 43 years of marriage before she predeceased him in 2013.
Nicholas worked in machine set-up and repair for 34 years before retiring. During his life, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the casino. Family was the most important thing to him. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nicholas is survived by his children, Mike (Kim) Willacker, Kevin (Rebecca) Willacker, and Julie (Jeff) Krupp; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Lynda (Richard) Beyer, Mike (Maureen) Willacker, and Tammy Bender.
He is predeceased by his wife, Shirley Willacker; his parents; his sister, Bette; brother, Randy; and infant sister, Lisa.
