DAVIS, Margaret C. (Robertson) - Age 83 of Flint Township, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48507. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Private burial will follow the service at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org)
Margaret was born on May 26, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to the late William and Donaldina (McKay) Robertson.. She received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan / Flint and her Masters Degree in Special Education from Oakland University before embarking on her first grade teaching career for the Carman-Ainsworth School District. Margaret was a Scottish Dancer in her youth, she was an avid reader and enjoyed her summers in the North and winters in the south (Florida). She loved being a grandmother and she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Catherine (Gary) Richardson of Davison, Jeffrey Davis of Flint, and Steven Davis of South Lyon; grandchildren, Lance (Ashley) Richardson and Eric Richardson; great-grandaughter, Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane on December 23, 2013; sisters, Annie Less and Cathryn Robertson.
