FLUTY, Lucian P.– Of Grand Blanc, age 95, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Ascension Genesys.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16th and 12:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time service at the funeral home.
Lucian was born in Kentucky on September 21, 1926, the son of the late Samuel and Vada (Horn) Fluty. He went on to serve in the United States Army during WWII. Lucian retired from General Motors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Lucian also enjoyed spending time gardening.
Surviving are sons, Larry (Nancy) Fluty and Julian Fluty;
grandchildren, Stacy Fluty, Joe Fluty and Jake Fluty;
great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Jackson, Jacob, Brooke, Brayden, Lucas, Lucille and Rozlon;
great-great-grandchildren, Azrael and Bravely Fluty;
sister, Nadene in Lexington Kentucky;
former daughter-in-law, Penny (Dan) Bartlett;
many extended Fluty family members;
and good neighbor, Linda.
Lucian was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Fluty, sister, Thelma and daughter-in-law, Lynn Fluty.
