OLIVER, Helen F. (Agan) – of Burton, age 88, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held 4 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023 at John’s Pizzeria, 9010 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee Lions Club, in Helen’s memory.
Helen was born in Flint, MI on February 18, 1935, daughter of the late Claude and Anna Viva (McCune) Agan. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1953. Helen married Charles Oliver, Jr., on December 30, 1953 and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2010. After supporting her husband, Charles, with his political career, she served as a trustee for Genesee Township for 12 years. Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very popular and loved by her friends and family and will be missed by all.
Helen is survived by her children, Viva Cain, Vickie Oliver, Jill (Rosalie) Oliver, and Charles (Tracy) Oliver III; grandchildren, Callie (Bob) Doyle, Katie (Bill) Rose, Charles (Emily) Oliver IV, Lawson Oliver, and Lennon Oliver; great-grandchildren, Caleb Rose and Andrew Rose; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
