Mary Pat Toth, of Flushing Michigan, age 74, died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Mary Pat's visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, at the Rossell Funeral Home in Flushing, MI, with a Rosary Service conducted at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 10, at St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Father Jonathan Perrotta will officiate.

Mary Pat was born in Flint, Michigan on January 9, 1949, to Albert and Mary (Nemeth) Toth. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Mt. Morris and went on to earn an Associates Degree at Baker's Business School in Flint. In her early years she was a world traveler and had a great passion to experience the many cultures of the world. She worked at the Genesee County Free Clinic for many years where she was highly regarded as a Patient Advocate, retiring in 2021. She was an expert seamstress designing many patterns and garments, including wedding gowns. She was an artist and gifted at crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. Her love of old western movies and old time rock and roll was infectious.
She was a beautiful woman who shared her whimsical sense of humor by enjoying her zest for life with everyone she met. She was known as Mary Pat, Pat, or Pattie, and her fun filled laugh is known by many. Her beloved cats held a special place in her heart and were one of the joys of her life.
Mary Pat will always be loved.
She is survived by her siblings, James (Toni) Toth, Susan Toth, Nancy (Chauncey) Moran, Debra Scheeler, and Jeanean (Don) Hoffman; sister-in-law, Debbie Toth; nieces and nephews, Samuel (Melanie) Toth, Irene Toth, Alexander Toth, Courtney (Bill), Ashley (Mike), Chelsea (Brian), Jeremiah Moran, Emily Scheeler, and Kyle Scheeler; best friends, Michelle (Mark) Hildebrandt and Barb (Tom) Walsch; and also her cat, Sunny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Toth; brother, Andy Toth; and niece, Elizabeth Toth. |
