Kenneth began his heavenly journey on Friday, October 15, 2021. Ken passed away at home surrounded by his family. Ken was born on November 18, 1952 in Newman, Georgia. Ken dedicated 34.2 years to General Motors and retired in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and telling stories. Ken had a nickname for everyone. He also loved his pets, Digger, Speedy and Reet. Ken was preceded in death by his father B.T. and Mother Mimi. He is survived by sister Cathy Hurley and husband Jeff from Florida, son Kenneth Cogdill Jr. and wife Mandy from Tennessee. Daughter Traci Cogdill from Virginia. Grandkids, Carson, Julie and Brady. Niece Ashley Crapo and husband Kris from Florida. Great nephews Connor and Colson. Ken will be missed by his family, friends and all his neighbors. He was a dedicated father and a proud PaPaw. Go rest high on that mountain as your work on earth is done. Cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at breastcancer.org.
