GROVES, John Lynn - Age 74, of Prescott, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. Funeral service will take place 11 AM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 1 PM to 8 PM Thursday and again 10 AM until the time of service Friday.
John was born on January 16, 1947 in Flint the son of John and Fame (Brushaber) Groves. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School, class of 1965. John worked as a real estate broker for many years throughout Michigan. He proudly served in the United States Army before his honorable discharge. John enjoyed fishing, sports, business, and spending time on the lake with his family .
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; 3 sons, Jon, Shaun and Judge Groves; 3 grandsons, John, Ryan and Owen Groves; and 2 brothers and sister, Terry Groves, Michael Groves and Janice Dunn.
