Lawrence R. “Larry” Fromwiller of Davison, age 83, died Sunday October 30, 2022 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday November 5, 2022 at Davison Eagles Lodge 3270 N. State Rd Davison, followed by a memorial gather of family and friends. Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at late date. Those desiring may make contributions in Larry’s memory to the Davison Eagles or Compassus Hospice.
Larry was born in Elba Township, Michigan on September 20, 1939 the son of the late Glenn and Frances (Schweitzer) Fromwiller and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Betty Lou Stevens on September 6, 1958. Larry was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1957.
Answering the call of his country Larry served in the US Army during the Cuban Crisis. He was a member of Davison American Legion Post 267, the Michigan Snowmobile Association and had been a very active member of the Davison Fraternal Order of Eagles #3589. Past member of the Davison Jaycees. He had been employed by General Motors Chevrolet Division retiring in 1993.
He leaves his wife of sixty-four years Betty, sons: Timothy and wife Mitzi Fromwiller, Scott Fromwiller, and his loving grandchildren Stephanie (Joe) and Andrea. Also surviving are brothers: LeRoy, Gordon, Ronnie and, sister: Delores, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by isters: Glenadine, Betty, and brothers: Ralph, Rex, and Elmer. Please share your condolences at
