MILLER, Lloyd Anthony “Tony” – Of Grand Blanc, age 62, died Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lloyd was born in Flint, Michigan on December 23, 1958, the son of
Lloyd Arnold Miller and Erma Martin (Crawley) and resided in Grand Blanc. He played football for Northern and semi-pro for the Dallas Gunslingers. After 26 years together, he married Sandra McDonald in Grand Blanc
on May 26, 2007. He loved sports, especially football, golf and boxing. Most of all he loved being with family. Mr. Miller was employed for the Knights Facilities at Grand Blanc High School West.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Miller;
daughters, Khalilah and husband Garrick Gatewood, Jennifer and husband Dennis Vernarsky, Stephanie Sandberg and Olivia McBride;
grandchildren, Jaden Gatewood, Tamia Gatewood, Jordin Chapman, Jace Chapman and Keith Vernarsky;
brother, Lynn and wife Felicia Miller;
sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Marcy and husband Gil Montez, Susan and husband John Mull, John and wife Laurie McDonald;
many nieces and nephews;
special nephew, Demond Pryor;
uncle, Jimmy Crawley;
special cousins, Carlos Muhanmad, Sean Croudy, Ronald Croudy, and Kevin Crawley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Martin; father, Lloyd Arnold Miller; aunts, Gloria Crawley and Lenore Croudy and grandparents.
