McNeill, Bernice ''Bernie'' of Flint, age 70, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, peacefully at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Dinner will be immediately following at the FOE 629 2149 N.Dort Hwy Flint Michigan 48506.The family welcomes family and friends on Tuesday May 24, 2022 from 10AM until time of service.
Bernice was born in Flint, Michigan on March 26, 1952 to the late William and Bernett (Pearson) Schanick. Bernie was an active member of the Eagles Club #629 for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending all the time she could with her family, whom she loved dearly. Bernie also enjoyed doing charity work and a bit of gambling and bowling.She loved hunting and spending time at deer camp with her family. Family was always her first priority and she loved them all to no end.
Surviving are: Children: Michael (Traver) McCann and Lori (Jeff) Pascoe; Grandchildren: Jefferey Pascoe, Matthew McCann, and Jeffery Christie; 4 very dear great grandchildren. Sisters: Kathy Pelch and Sharon Harvey; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Fred McNeill, granddaughter, Amber Marie Pascoe, brothers: Harold (Judy) Schanick, Mike (Jackie) Schanick, and Billy Schanick, also 2 special brother in laws Norman Pelch and Alvin ''Butch'' Harvey and special Aunt, Bernice Dubreuil.
Bernie was loved by many and she will be greatly missed.
