MADISON, Helen R. – of Davison, age 98, passed away September 14, 2017 at Cranberry Park, Vienna Twp. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Burial will take place in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Medical Team Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Helen was born in Flint, MI on January 4, 1919, daughter of the late James and Miriam (Bates) Robinson. She married Bruce J. Madison on March 22, 1941 and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2003. Helen was a member of the Rebekah’s of Davison. She loved to read and crochet. Helen retired from AC Spark Plug in 1980 after 27 years.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Hillaker; daughter-in-law, Betty Madison; granddaughter, Tammy (Sam) Genovese; grandsons, Jim (Barb) Hillaker and Christopher (Keelie) Hillaker; great-grandchildren, Ashlee Genovese, Joshua Geneovese, Jordan Genovese, Ian Hillaker, Hunter Hillaker and Logan Hillaker; special “adopted daughter”, Willa Lucas. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Harold Robinson; brother, Loren Robinson; son, Wayne J. Madison; son-in-law, James Hillaker. The family would like to say a special thank you to Cranberry Park for their wonderful care.
